Very well put, James. I must remember that expression shape up or ship out!

Exactly, Michele- some things are pleasant to have, but in general the most basics are what we need in order to thrive. People don´t get happy from powershopping, watching the telly all day, having three computers etc. What makes people smile is good company which doesn´t need to ruin the ozonlayer;-)

A legitimate analogy, I'd say. It's a shape up or ship out moment for Earth dwelling humans.

It's NOT a crazy thought at all Annemette... Why can't we just live in harmony with nature ?? So many so called convieniences that we really just don't need that ultimately do more damage than good for anyone... I don't know but I wonder too.. Very good point as always .
Take Care, Michele~

Not so crazy Annemette . . . perhaps even crazier to assume we have so much power . . . remember the dinosaurs? Ok . . . NOT literally. Mother Earth will shake us off like a bad case of fleas and still be here long after we're all gone. Arrogance . . . Hubris . . . whatever you choose to call it . . . We don't control nature, it controls us.
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~
