Pat, I am not sure you would like the slow focus motor on the Nikkor 80-400, it is not SWM, unfortunately! Is the Sigma also the older focus technology?

Eb - Fantastic details. I am in the process of "maybe" selling my Sigma 80mm-400mm. Shots like this one make me what to go with the Nikon.

Wonderful sharpness and detail in the wood and flowers, and great fresh colors! I guess the grass isn't always greener on the other side, but at least it's mowed :) Ina

I like the detail and texture in the old weathered wood, Eb! It makes a great contrast with the grass on one side and wildflowers on the other.
