About	Taken in the midday sunlight during the spring mating season, this regal fellow was clearly king of this stretch of the river Medway. His time seemed to be pretty much divided between showing off his strength to the other males, and flirting with his mate. Perhaps swans and humans aren't so different after all :)

Megan, you would battle with highlights in the mid day, composition and detail good

Megan, this is a gorgeous Mute Swan in a nice setting. The harsh sunlight on the birds breast make the details in the highlights disappear. The pose with the head down is classic. Beautiful bird and image.

A very lovely capture. Love his reflection. A bit too harsh a light making his feather detail disappear. Well done though.
