As a CC, I'd say that the idea is a good one, a backlit cameo crowd shot. But these, like so many photos, would be 'found' photos, not likely to ever occur again. So I would probably shoot these in burst, whatever the camera could manage in a 'raw' - and as you aren't using flash. Perhaps walk around a bit or wait for other people to walk by. And then one would have more to choose from. That would just be my suggestion.
Very interesting. I like the colored background. I would suggest drawing in the rest of the glasses frame, because it looks like something sticking out of his eye. But I really like the shot.
