Thanks again Mary, this was taken in the UK too. I was shooting the cathedral of Manchester and after that I looked behingd me and I saw this building, I had to take it.

Hi my dear Srna, long time because I'm very busy again with my work. But now I have an hour to reply all the USE-ers who comment me, nice play with words don't you think? Yes you're right it is a great building, not for me to live in... but to look at it is. I was shooting the cathedral and when I turned arround I saw this one. I'm happy you lke it so much, and I apreciate your kind words so much..... but after all........ you know I do. And yes, it is indeed very futuristic.
Yesterday I was at the company for 25 years now, and they wanna give me something.... maybe I go for a flasher, I need a good one, I have only the one on my camera, but the result of a lose one is always a lot better, but I let you know when I have it. All the best to you too, and have a nice weekend.

Thanks a lot John for your very complimenting comment on my pic. I could have done as you suggested, but I did like the contrast between the building and the sky more strong so I took it like I did.
Especially for you I cropped the sky out, hope you lke it.

WOW! Excellent, almost like an abstract!!!!! Fantastic shapes and composition between shadows and bright areas. Very nice....I could add an idea, from a lower in perspective point of view that building could cover all your frame for a 100% abstract composition!

Hi Riny, we waren te gast bij Patak's in Leigh en we hadden een hotel in Manchester en s 'avonds zijn we bij Manchester City - Blackburn Rovers geweest, en wat denk je............... verliest Manchester met 3-0, onze gastheer, een groot fan van City was not amused.
Dit is trouwens een soort van flatgebouw, maar ik vond het dermate futuristisch dat ik er even onder deze hoek een foto van moest maken.
