This trip was awesome too Michele! I LIKE to see trees,dead or live,green or without leaves.On this trip we were 4 weeks and we travel through Californien,Utah,Nevada and it was not the last time that I was there!!

For b&w conversion it`s best to use the 'Channel Mixture' with the 'Monochrome' box check.Then
'Brightness/Contrast'that`s the basic.Just looking at your 'thumbnail'you are a awesome photographer,I will check it out later.

Wonderful shot Nicole! Horizon line may be a little bit off but I still like the way you filled the frame with the tree. I think it was intended to be this way anyway. Great shot. I like it!
