This is one great moment. DOF is crucial, and, wow, you have it nailed. I like the soft background, it makes the bird stand out. And the bird itself is a curiosity.

Hi John, These are really interesting little birds. This one is smaller than my thumb. They stay here all winter feeding on the flowers and a lot of people have feeders out for them. The feed is sugar water. They are very territorial. This one sits in the orange tree and watches the feeder and if another comes around he will run it off. Thanks John, have a great day. Don.
