About this is actually a combination of multiple images via photocopy transfer. i then worked over the image with pencils to enhance the color i felt should belong. She is flooded by memories as she considers who she really is.

it's not a painting. there is no paint on this one it's a handcolored collage of photographs i've taken. i used art pencils and coffee. if you notice, the original image transfers still show through in the background. i know, it's not conventional, but i think it still deserves some credit here on usefilm since all the photographs are original.

thanks for all your thoughts!!!
looking at ure portfolio and so far this seems to be my favorite in it..Its full of personal stuff.. seems to be a lot of thoughts there... ..but u say ure going to start art school, with this kind of work i think u should!! the remaning pictures besides "Waiting for Public Transportation" to sare, im not sure what ay.. they looks to me to ordinary, they miss something personal..if u understand me correctly.... NOT THAT IM BREAKING ANY BARRIERS...
ones again thanks.. and come back to my shots. i will come see yours..

and ps: u were wondering if it was me in the shots? Yes it is..

this work is great, even if non entirely photographic; I don't want to establish any rule, if one can use PS to edit an image I think any other editing technique is valid; I believe every image stand on its own and must be viewed and criticized for the emotional impact it brings. ciao Ronald - marco

Do you know for a fact that the original images were not made with a camera, Ben??? Or have you just been waiting to use that line on someone? I like this. It's not a traditional photograph but it is a good composition which I can look at more than once. That is my test for whether it's a successful image.
