Thank you for your comment Gabriela. This was shot in a very typical MOntreal neighborhood called "Plateau Mont-Royal" with a great mix of cosmopolitan and "homey" as you say.

Nice street shot, Jean-Francois, and great colour through the snowflakes! I like the incongruity of the bike locked to the post, too.

I like the atmosphere in the shot! And the contrast in colours.The choice of subject is so homey, like everybody's neighbourhood!The snow is contributing greatly to the effect of the shot.
