:) yeah though I do a bit of trekking in the Himalayas.. but I felt the inclination tough enough... :) I am here in US for the first time... and staying in fremont for a week or so.. I will be here for 3 months (Office works - Software engineer).. i would like to know more about this place... and the worst part is that I am not carrying my F80 along with me I kept it in India only.. along with all the lens.. but this time I managed to borrow a Kodak from a freind of mine.... I am waiting to save some money so that I can buy a D80 :).. for which i am waiting desperately... I will often ask you about good places in and arround fremont and SFO.. for sure.. hope you wont mind :)

Oh gosh, yes, the stairs!! They are tough! I went there with my friends to take pictures, and forgot my camera at home (yes, I have those moments)-- I ended up taking shots with there little point and shoot. Then, when my friends were moving out of country, I decided to go back (WITH my camera this time) to take a photo for them as a going away gift. So... I did the stairs again. Twice in two months. With my bad knees... I'm planning to go back in a month or two, it is worth return visits, since the fog changes the lighting so much. Oh yeah, once I was there and they closed the stairs because the winds were so high!! But I actually got a good shot from the top of the stairs, because there was no one in the shot at all :))

Yes I believe its the pump house... I also took a pic inside the pump house too... I will share it soon :)... this is my first time in US and I believe I have been to an excellent place... :)... but it was real tough 300 steps down and up :)... also with lots a cold wind... ha ha

Thanks Rick.. Its a nice place to be.. :) yes I accept its a bit under but i think its a problem with my Laptop... which I believe is not calibrated properly... I would definitely add a bit of light to the same..

Is this the pumphouse to the right of the lighthouse? Lovely golden tones on it... this is such a great place to take photos-- I've never been here at this time of the day-- I'll have to make the trip!

I agree with Bijit: touch more light on the house (or else a full silhouette) might be beneficial. But the sky more than makes up for that - you picked the right time for the natural light :)
