I love the DOF, detail and wide angle on this 1,

Excellent sharp focus and the DOF is perfect. I really like how the focus is sharp on the rock to the right in the foreground. However, I think this little guy would be framed better had he not been put in the center (rule of thirds).

This photo works on so many levels for me, I love the perspective of the rocks, the focussing is spot on and the subject matter even appears to be smiling! Wonderful.

Doyle, When your right....your right....I didn't even realize that I had this little guy dead center. I took your advise and pulled in the right side on my full sized version. Many thanks my friend.

I have been so busy with work lately I can't see straight. I am hoping to get back to normal (if there is such a thing!) real soon!

My Best Regards

Hi Sam!
Missed you lately. Love the depth (DOF) . . . the focus and what a great place to poke a head up to help with the lines in the composition. I know you liked the PANO format and I'll likely be chastised about being "rule-bound" by some but the centrality of the subject here is (to my eye) very static. I think pulling in the right side would strengthen the composition and still alow a viewing of the wonderful DOF - though in a more dynamic setting. Otherwise, to me, it's perfect . . . cute subject matter and great focal clarity!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
