L-P Cavaliers, Mendota Trojans (before condoms were cool), Princeton Tigers, Kewanee Boilermakers, Manlius Blue Storm (politically correct), Ottawa Pirates, Henry Mallards(ducks),
wonderful memories....
thanks for adding a bit to this post.

Neptune! = Mar Vista High. Although, me thinks he would have mightily disapproved of the state of his Ocean there in Imperial "Venereal" Beach, CA.
Southwest High was our rival, I believe, but then again, I wasn't one to care so much about the official extra-curricular activities, not when there was a wave with my name on it sliding in from the deep blue...

Our mascot was a long-haired guy who hung out on field level and every time we scored a touchdown he'd light up a bunch of joints and start passing them around. Come to think of it, he did that for every field goal, blocked punt, bad call by the refs... Pot was a pretty big deal at my alma mater, back in those days. We didn't have any rivals because mostly we were too mellow to care one way or another, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I know a bit about them. Like The "Fightin' Gobblers" of Cuero HS, Texas or the "Fightin' San Crabs" of Port Lavaca, Texas or the "Fightin' Angoras" of Rocksprings, Texas. These powerful mascots leave their adversaries cringing in fear.

jim, i think that americans are the same human beings as i am :) cause had a luck and several met during my life (hope to meet some more):) and many of them are still in cotact with me, so seems we found common language and point of view to the world..just hope to see and visit States soon, not to loose my american "buddies" :) (do you spell it that way? i forgot :( )

Olga... welcome aboard the "Jimmie" photo train. I have been at this awhile. Thanks for the comments and yes... if I can make you laugh or even toss a bit of a smile, then I did my job. You picked up on the humor very quickly. I am very serious sometimes, but most of the time I am just here to have fun. I hope you enjoy my photos and come back often to see what I post. I am a very bad replier... I do not comment very often, so do not get offended. I don't know what you think of Americans... but I promise you (and others can say this too) I am not exactly as you may have believed all Americans to be. I am happy you had a smile and a laugh. Thanks for stopping by.
