Warmest thanks Dear Shirley. This I think, was is best shot out of the few I managed to grab. The "keeper" was telling the enthralled tourist crowd about the habits etc of these owls, and this little chap was most obliging, just perched there (a trained pet) and as you can see he has a "thingo" on his leg (lead... what on earth do they call those thingos they have on bird's legs???) Anyway, it was a very long thingo and Mr Barn Owl seemed to have plenty of freedom and looks very well kept and healthy. :)
