Thanks, Jim. Yes, I wondered about the composition of this one. I tried cropping it a few different ways and it didn't quite work. So while this one isn't as strong compositionally as it could be, I still liked it enough 'as is' to include in my gallery here. Thanks for the comment.

Wonderful shot. You have a good eye to spot this one. I wonder how it would look if the leaf were not dead center - might make a stronger composition - but you already have a strong shot here. Nice work.

Oh, thanks. I love the S3 IS. No camera is perfect but I think it's the best of both worlds - the SLR and a point-and-shoot. It's comfortable to hold, easy to use, you still have lots of control and it's just a great little camera. I recommend it very highly.
