There is no fat in any of the candy shown here. But lets not talk about the sugar! I am so hooked on Tootsie Pops and have a big candy jar in the kitchen. I allow myself one a day. Thanks for your comments. --Best to you, Jan

Really easy choice for me! I do not like candies … what about a piece of chocolate? :-)

Thanks, Mary. Given the popularity of these and other goodies I don't think the candy companies would be interested in shelling out their money to me. I have always had a penchant for lollipops and Tootsie Pops are my favorite. I should buy stock in the company. --Best regards, Jan

Great shot Jan!! I LOVE the idea! The interplay of light and shadow on the surface (stone?) and the focal clarity . . . Nice! The composition looks deceptively random but is too well arranged to be accidental . . . nicely done.
As to the choice . . . I've never seen the pink tootsie pop . . . so that's out. HAVE to go with the cherry . . . you were wise to choose it. Great minds think alike.
Creative idea . . . I'd love to see it developed further in the future . . . Score a 7 from me my friend!!!
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

Jim-- Thanks for viewing and your comment. It is a bit obtuse but it is an understated view of choices we make in life. Some we give serious consideration to and some we do instinctively..but we do it all the same. As for this one specifically, as it is second in a series, I had Halloween candy left over and decided to make a Choice photo. I picked the cherry lollipop. Which one would you have picked? --Best to you, Jan

Thanks, Nessa, for the kind comment. NOTE: no fat in any of these candies-- have no fear. (Except for the sugar and calories, they are perfectly healthy) :) --Regards to you, Jan PS: Christmas is a fine time to watch how we eat. The candy, family get-togethers, friends' parties. WOW. In the US Thanksgiving is just as bad. Lots of CHOICES.

Joel-- Thanks for the comments. Everyone has their own demons when it comes to choices. My choice of candy sure did not rate on the same scale as your counter. Other choices for me that are tougher and looming: when will I retire? This weekend picking new tires for the SUV - picked Michelin Hydroedge. Sigh.... and tomorrow to the polls for US voters. --Love, Pops

Pops... (no pun intended) i hear ya. choices.
When Lisa and I went shopping for counter tops, by far, the most difficult choice of the entire house. Backsplash took a very close second, but I don't see that here. In this case...
The Necco wafers.

Annemette- I agree- the silly or trivial stuff can really pose choice dilemmas. The good thing is that at least the outcome has little in the way of consequence. Thanks for your comments. --Best to you, Jan PS: I do not like liquorice- so you can have any that comes my way.

And what a pleasant selection to chose from although I´m missing strong black salty liqoirice there:-) Isn´t it funny that sometimes it can be easier to choose a home than what pievce of candy you´d like?! Or maybe that´s just me being weird! Funny stillleben that will soon be destroyed by sweettoothed people. Best wishes, Annemette
