A late flowering Kniphofia (the red hot poker plant) enjoying the late summer sunshine. The photo was taken at Bodnant Gardens in Wales, where I was testing out my new Tamron 80 - 300 zoom lens. I am very pleased with the sharpness of the images taken both in zoom and macro format.
Gorgeous colour Jeff!!! I would be tempted to burn out the pink on the lower right, but yes, the sharpness is impressive, lucky you for having a macro lense, my poor little fixed lense camera does not have such capabilities...but we struggle on!! LOLOLOL Great work, cheers, Bek
