Bek-- thanks so much for checking out my potty humor. Good choice! Always go for the best tread and traction for a clean sweep. I will check back later for your photo. Inspiration is what it is all about. I cannot believe I said that! :) --Jan

Hi Jan,
I like the subject you chose as well as the way you expressed it. Excellent POV. Great lightfall and colours. Simply a fantastic idea and shot. I am still thinking about the line of shade ? They fit well and quite natural to this image, but I'm wondering what happens when they disappear ? Compliments for this excellent shot and thanks for sharing.

Uhhhhh thanks--- I think..... It is good to know that there is still an audience for potty humor. However, I think the Acorn photo is a more defintive study on the nuances thereof. Much more subtle. --Best to you, Jan

Jan: Well . . . uhhhhh . . . this is certainly unique. Joel's critique was almost spot-on (IMO) so I'll not repeat it. I certainly prefer this to the acorn / turd picture. I love the title. I enjoy the humor. I recognize the unique mind that can conceive of such a thought (borderline deranged - takes one to know one)! LoL!

Thanks, Joel. I agree about the temp; I played wiuth some variations. I will go back to the .psd and look at some adjustments. I also agree that we should have a category or project called "Potty Humor". Would be so much fun but our mates on Usefilm might figure that we don't need any more encouragement! --Love, Pops

howdy pops..
Ya know... in this case, you can add your choices together, and have a good ol' TP salad.
so... critique's corner... here I go!
I like it! The yellow (please save the potty humor for later) could be pulled out a bit. maybe reduce the temp when you're in RAW edit. What's nice, is that blue in the back top left... pull some of the yellow, and that blue will pop a bit more.
The exposure is great, and perfectly holds the rolls apart from the back wall. One could argue that the blacks in the back wall are little too close to the value in the TP tubes, but that's splittin hairs. The whites are a bit too hot, and from the looks of the image, you may have information in there (that hot area on the shelf between the rolls), if you brought your exposure down.
I do think that Usefilm should add a place for us all to post our potty room pictures. ...and this should be the first award winner! :)
cheers pops!
