Hi Dave,
I'm going to be a little harsh on this one. The moment is definitely captured, but the quality is not up to your usual standard.
Here is one tip that I found a while ago. This is an explanation on how to get rid of Chromatic Aberation. (those purple fringes under the goose's neck) The article explains why it happens and how to get rid of them. Very easy actually. I also find those purple fringes a real problem when shooting birds against a back lit sky. The Photoshop solution to this is so simple you won't believe it.

It's a good try, focus is difficult as the bird moved fast and at all the time the camera must focus again and again (servo) lost some focus here but not strongly. Also the quality could be a bit better but I am sure that is because of the streching that the site do on the photos a nd some sharpenning it also be.
