Good idea though a very usual one. Generally speaking, you want to catch the eye, as the title implies, so catch it! Which means less hair, less face, and above all correct focus would have helped.

As Hitchcock once said: "There is a bomb under the table in a room full of people that do not know about the bomb. You want to cause suspence to the spectators? Show them the bomb! Only the the ticking bomb!".
