About	The Native American used to call Yellowstone many names, among them, “Water Keeps Coming Out”- “Place of Hot Water”- “Summit of the World”- and Land of the Burning Ground. Those were powerful names and thanks to the conservation efforts of the National Parks System, today we can enjoy to see fantastic places like this one in public lands. The stunning color in the Grand Prismatic Spring located in the Lower Geyser Basin of Wyoming’s Yellowstone National Park has deposited a mound of sinter colored red and yellow by thermophilic bacteria. The bacteria produce colors ranging through greens, yellows, oranges, and reds and the amount of color in the microbial mats depends on the ratio of chlorophyll to carotenoids.

Great shot Yamil, the different tones and textures are nice, I like the ground fog! The Indians also called it the land stolen from us by the paleface murders X(
