Excellent crop--I love how the center is the focus, but the yellow draw your attention first. Nice idea

I like the composition in this image here, however I think the highlughts are bit over exposed, try underexposing your florals a stop or two! :)

Actually on this shot I left the saturation alone. I am wondering if perhaps the image was too soft to begin with. I origionally shot the whole flower and tried to crop in to tight I think as this was not really shot to be a macro image. Thanks as always Mohammad for your ongoing help and advice.

Still too much noise dear Chad!
although it looks like some JPEG noise but I think lots of Aliasing effect feels all around,
maybe this is because of your changes in Saturation. did you change th saturation (for example master channel or Yellow channel)?
I forgot to say, increasing saturation will lead to unwanted noises too as it may bold the contrast between yellow/Cyan positions on the shot's pixels.
Check it out,
Mohammad

Thank you Gabriela, I appreciate your honest critique. I have wrestled with this shot quite a bit, sometimes I like it, other times I have my doubts.

I like the crop, but I would have preferred a deeper yellow in the petals. As such there is too much light at the extremes where petals are. Of course this is the way I look at it, not necessarily the right way.
Thanks for visiting my page!
