Very nice Juan . . . I agree that a tighter crop might be good but think a shallower DOF would be even better. But you have what you have and you're using a camera I used for a very long time. A good camera, really -- but not a lot of the control some of the more expensive ones might have. With that camera . . . you can take very good pictures and my friend, you prove that to us almost every day. This shot, for example, has beautiful color and a crystal clear clarity that makes for a really good shot. And I see Alicia responded very nicely too! Well done!

Juan, nice shot of these orchids, the focus seems a bit soft, but maybe that is what you wanted. IMO I would crop in very close to the flowers themselves, the background seems to be a bit too busy and the white area on the right side distracts from the flowers. My opinions only and through my eyes.
