For lighting, I like to use a tall floor lamp. Depends on the time of day. Do you have a front lawn or backyard? Maybe try putting your kitty out there in the early morning, get down low, and then shoot. Just a suggestion, this is a lovely portrait.

You are right, I must put a little more light to the picture... I´ve just used daylight, this picture was taken in the livingroom. I don´t have a studio and I´ve just started this week learning Photoshop. But.. I´m getting there!
