I've learned my lesson- don't correct for color on a laptop LCD - good luck. The canyon is probably a great candidate for HDR.

Actually, I'm doing it myself as we speak, but I've discovered a ton of dust on the image that I hadn't noticed before, so it's taking a little time.
The direction it's going is away from your balance, however...as my memory serves me, the rocks and the ambient light weren't that red, were much more yellow/sand colored.
I'd only had my new Olympus setup about a month when I took these photos, and since then I've learned a lot about the white balance idiosyncrasies of this camera. I may take another shot at this site this summer.

Actually, I'm doing it myself as we speak, but I've discovered a ton of dust on the image that I hadn't noticed before, so it's taking a little time. And I was distracted by moving to a new apartment, a trip to Kenya and Tanzania...you know, the usual stuff.
