About I took this photo at 8 in the evening when the sun was low and blocked by the smoke clouds that turned the sun this pink-red. The fire has grown to over 20,000 acres and the small town of Conconully may have to be evacuated. The fire is in mountainous terrain burning in timber and dead trees. Lots of thick smoke has been put out and you can smell it in Okanogan over 20 miles away. The fire was caused by lightning.
