Hi SQirl,
Excellent angle, but I feel the photo needs a little boost in contrast and saturation to make it stand out stronger. I think that would only assist the subject, and increase the impact of this photo tremendously.
Cheers,
Hugo

Nothing wrong with "touristy" if it's a good shot and this one is....very nicely done!

Hi Ray, thanks for your welcome back! Nice to see you too. :)
Glad you like the photo. I noticed in my older shots that skies were my weak point, so I started taking shots like this to get in some practice. I like the angles (or lack of them...) in this shot. Plus the fact that this is one of the few London shots I got without at least a bit of a tourist in the shot... ;)
Take care, SQirl

Hello Shirley, lovely to hear from you! I hope you're keeping well. We actually have a summer here now, so no big overcoats just at the moment. :)
Take care, SQirl

Thanks George! I like touristy too, I must admit. I'm not overly keen on what most of the postcard manufacturers do with the colours in their shots, but I like the general composition of so many postcard photos.
Good luck with your plans to visit London! I'll look forward to seeing your shots from the top of the Eye. :)

Hiya Squirl......I wondered where you had got to. Welcome bacb to you.
Not the least bit touristy....this is a wonderful perspective of this London landmark (landmark, surely I mean skymark:):)) Beautifully composed against that lovely English cloudy sky with wonder clarity of detail showing in a shot that goes against the light to a degree. Well done to you. Very best wishes to you......Ray

Touristy stuff is OK. At least I appreciate it. Thanks for sharing it. This monster has always fascinated me. Perhaps later this year I'll get the opportunity to ride it an do some shooting from the top.
