I've never considered that I yet have a 'style' but perhaps I do.
As for exposure & contrast...they're solid only because you didn't get to see 50+ discarded shots that were overexposed or muddy. ;)
Yeah, I was also noticing how a kicker or bounce on her hair would have helped separate her from the similarly dark background. Hmmm...perhaps if I brush in some highlights at the edge of her hair...

howdy Paul.
you've got a great style! ....it's to the point where I can look at an image, and know you grabbed it.
This is so you! I am starting to see your compositions, and wonder if you pose the models, or wait for them to be in the 'paul' pose.
The exposure, and contrast is very solid on all of your portraits.... not an easy task!
I like this one...as it's cause for me to write! ...the pose is wonderful. What works with this better than most, is her expression, and the unflattering wrinkle in her forehead. it's got serious attitude, and that's a great emotion to capture.
very cool. great exposure. ...only thing I can comment on, is that it would be extra cool to get a slight bounce on the screen right edge of her hair, just enough to pull her away from the background a bit more.

The facial expression and the angle are really great! One can tell that the conditions (light) were not easy and you did a good job here.
