Have no fear Mary, I was never in any danger I promise :) I am posting yet another perspective of the same, this time framed through some trees along the bank of the Fraser. You can see the subject of the original in the centre. I am glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for your comments.

Cathy, I am glad you enjoyed the challenge! I think the answer will surprise you as it is nothing more than the eroding bank of the Fraser River taken with the zoom fully extended from the opposite side. I am posting another wide perspective by which you can see the subject of the first picture in the very centre. Suddenly it looks so natural, but it certainly did not up close!

Very challenging indeed! The left hand side looks like an aerial view, high up, while the side with the tree shadows, the viewers' distance away could be measured in centimetres. Which is it???? The 2nd? Cathy
