About Title is a portion of what the plaque says behind her on bench..."Grow old along with me..."

A very quick grab shot of little girl taking a break with her sippy-cup...tho' i wasn't aware at the time, she is same girl in pink with fairy wand in this shot:

Great classic look. Old style, but with the modern introduction of the sippy-cup! Nice sense of movement (do children ever sit perfectly still???), and the poem on the plaque makes me feel a little sad. Love that we can see the white of her eye.

Nicely grabbed op. Couldn't have set this up if you tried, well done for being at the right place at the right time. I like the sepia tones and strong contrast. It's helped define/emphasise the words on the plaque, without which, may not have had the same impact. Great stuff...

Grow old along with me the best is yet to be, an old robert browning attage. a very real and strong child portrait, the the harsh lighting and excellent angled crop is perfect, i really do like the classic look as it is very appealing, this could have been shot anytime within the last 50 years and only the cup gives you a hint of time.. Excellent..

Or, as they said on our retreats...
"Keep your fork. The best is yet to come."

;)

I think you did an admirable job of toning down the harsh lighting; it doesn't feel that way at all from here.

Good job, Gayle.

P.S.
Went out a-wandering this evening, and I scored SEVERAL shots. (see, us digital folk can quickly tell this stuff by avoiding the drug-store rush processing). I'll be posting 'em tonight.

Hi Gayle,
A great Idea to match the plaque with the young girl, whose life has just begun and has it all ahead of her.
