I know exactly what you mean, Marlyce. I also dream of having lots of land preferably in Canada in wild beautiful nature situated by a creek and fill my place with frisian and icelandic horses, all kinds of dogs and cats, sweet goats and chinese pigs, wolves, araparrots etc. etc.:-)
Still that dream demands that I´ve people to care for all the animals when going traveling because I´ve a strong urge also to see parts of the world. It´s not always easy to make everything some true without making sacrifices.

I absolutely love it. My dream is to have about 40 acres to raise every animal I can think of and that house would go perfect in the middle. As far as the CRAZY husband, he wants to go to...animals and all. You have a beautiful house and I am so glad you shared it with all of us.

I´m so happy that you can sense that this old place is so much me:-) Although I could live all over the world, I really love my home and old houses and architecture in general. I feel comfortable when I feel a place has been loved and filled by many souls.
Hollyhocks? Then I learned yet another English word:-)EWe call them "stokroser", and they are indeed wonderful and romantic:-)

Annnemette, it is wonderful to see it. Especially as I can now see where the roof picture fits in! Makes me see how different things can look close, different angles etc. I like that - it teaches. This is such a beautifully characteristic place- it just seems you! Great colours. I've always loved hollyhocks and I think that is what is in this picture.

So it's a hand-me-down? LoL!
Wow . . . VERY unique house . . . I mean home. It kinda' seems appropriate for a very unique photographer. The roof looks like it's made of carpet and spiked so the rampaging villagers can't scale the summit, get to the courtyard, and pick the pretty flowers. Do us both a favor . . . don't give my wife your address!

I love it, can I move in? I was going to the other picture to respond to your comment about putting up the picture and wow, here it is. This is beautiful. Now I really understand the roof of the other picture. This is a wonderful shot and great detail.
