What a beautiful shot. The warm sunset tones and the ruggedness of the rocks and sea complement one another beautifully.

Hilton, this is just wonderful. Could look at it for hours! The warmth, reflections and colours. And still the lively sea- beautiful.

This is gorgeous, Hilton! I love the warm tones and the fisherman on the pier is a nice addition. Well done!

Hi Hilton, I'm a bit torn between the essentially beautiful shot, and the various subjects you included in it; my eye wanders from the pier on the left to the rocks and surf on the right, without settling down on anything specific. In a way, that reduces the effect of this scene, making me wondering more what you intended to shoot than have me admire the obviously beautiful sunset, if you see what I mean.

The warmth of the sunset tones, and the reflection thereof in the wet sand would've been enough, at least to me, to sketch the same atmosphere. I can imagine either including the pier, or the rocks on the right to finish the composition. In this case, I'd go for the pier sied, as the man watching / sharing the view is a very strong element. Besides, I think the rocks on the right lack a bit of detail in the dark parts, which is quite understandable given the circumstances. Don't see this as a negative comment (although I admit it all sounds a bit harsh reading it back). I'm just thinking out loud, and I wouldn't have rambled on if I didn't like it....:)

Cheers,

Hugo
