Hi Kelly, wonderful capture of this butterfly, is it the real monarch?, its really springtime. I like the colors overall and the color of your roses. The bunch of buds at the right side is very attractive that it even challenges the butterfly for attention. But, even though... I see a good composition between the monarch and the bud both positioned near the opposite corner. There's a story being told with the inclusion of the bunch of buds...

Beautifully composed my dear Kelly. The colours are gorgeous, the details wonderful and the dof is perfect. I too particularly love the budding roses in the background. I haven't managed to shoot a decent butterfly for some years...they see me and then scarper. Well done to you sweetie a great study. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray
