A good humor well received as I'm a golfer. You have a good sharpness, DOF and colors. The background bothers me a bit and I ask myself if this nest could be moved another place. If so, on the golf course alley or a green would probably be a better place with a nicer background. We actually have a lot of snow up here and your golf balls pic gives me the taste to shot them 300 yards away >...:)
Good use of humor without making the photo just silly. I think you separate the nest from the background well by using the narrow dof, but I do think it would have been nice to shoot it against more contrasting background.
The composition has some interesting components : the circular shape made by the nest, and, within, a constrasting triangle that consists of three balls. Of course, the theme is witty. There may be a lack of colour contrast between the nest and the background. Also, we are on the verge of having an overexposed surface on the golf balls. We hesitate too about how good is the focus. These are very minor drawbacks though and alltogether I appreciate this photo a whole lot.
