About
Taken in the late afternoon at Coulomb Nature Reserve, some 60km north of Broome. A beautiful, and somewhat remote beach, with numerous tidal channels across the bay. I seek your opinion on the composition of this picture, and how it could have been done better.
Many thanks for your thoughts and for showing me how you'd crop it.
It looks good, but funnily enough, the finding the feather where it was, is the reason I took the picture in the first place! :0) I thought making it the focus of the foreground of a somewhat wide-angle photo would lend to the overall picture. I would also have liked to have had more time to try taking more photos, perhaps with less distance, or a closer, lower-angle approach to the feather. I think I remember trying that but found that the sand crab tailings went out of focus and detracted from the potential image. Hmm... definitely food for thought!
All in experimentation. Thanks for your contribution!
Very good composition and perfect lighting, except that the feather looks a bit not matching the location. I hope you don't mind I re-composed your photo to a more Panoramic one. Cheers! MCHK
