I like the subject. It's a nice idea. I agree with Hugo about the shadow. I altered it using the PS elements transform feature. Below is my suggestion.

That's an interesting idea, but I also thought the shadow added a little character. Thanks for the comment though.

Hi Carter, Very interesting composition and contrasting tones. It gives this image an almost graphical feel. I only find the shadow in the top left corner a bit distracting... Wonder if you could've composed this photo differently and exclude the shadow...
