It's a beautiful image of a beautiful bird, and the composition is very nice. I do find myself wanting a bit more context.

You're a little too kind Lisa. This shot could have been a bit sharper and shrinking it to Usefilm size took some of its edge away and with this shot my attemps to resharpen started to look coarse so I tried top achieve a balance. Thanks dear.

This image doesn't appear to be as sharp as it probably is on your end. I'm sure that's a problem with the upload rather than on your behalf. I know what you are capable of. So I'm faulting usefilm.
I assume you're still shooting in RAW.
The closeness with the 70-200 and the 2X Tele Extender is amazing.
I took a serveral surfing photos today and the whole time I was there I was saying to myself that I need to get one of these Tele Extenders.
The DOF is excellent here. I'm sure with the Tele Extender the DOF is ever better.
Great details on the feathers.
