Thanks again, Joggie for your generous comment. You confirm that I am on the right track with black and white conversions. Incidentally, these images have suffered somewhat in quality because I mistakenly uploaded them at higher resolution. Usefilm's resizing would have been lossy. Thanks Cathy! Your comment on tonality is what I am looking for. With some more experimenting, I would hope to get B&W tones as nice as on film. I heard that Kodak is quitting B&W film! Eb
