I'd prefer it with more image on the left side of the photo. The crop feels a bit abrupt. Good job getting into position. I'd also like to see a zoom on the center subject.

My humble opinion of the subject-not a lot, bad taste for this site and just grateful it is one of a small minority.
My humble opinion of the photo- well, I think my 8 year old could have taken it as well with a disposable.

kim, yeah I've got photoshop.I've done the same thing you talk of by a diffrent route.I have a feeling a moderator is going to lose it if we don't take this discussion to the general forums!but i couldn't resist and posted a photo I took a couple of days ago.enjoy!

Nice shot - the red, white and blue signs look great!

I too, took this into PS to play... I really like the repeating posters of NO IRAQ WAR and the man in the foreground looks so passionate about what he's saying. Great job at capturing the spirit and mood of this group. I also cropped the right side a bit because I find the line alongside the right to be a bit of a distraction.
If you have Photoshop, this was desautrated and then using the history brush I coloured back over the man to give him colour, as well as some of the signs. I still have to check out your portfolio, but this strikes me as a very well documented journalistic shot.

play all you want with my pictures! Did you use unsharp mask when you reposted the black and white shot? Here is another shot I took that is too blury to post.

i personally like this kind of shooting (perhaps a bad choice of terminology at the moment)but i prefer it in B+W.
hope you don't mind but i played a little in PS with it to see what it would look like. here's my take on it -

Great to see it's a worldwide statement.

I like your depth of perspective.
