Cheers Kiarang. Wonderful to hear from you! Yes, I see what you mean about the distraction, but I think it has more to do with my 'heavy hand' during post-processing than exposure this time :) Thanks for dropping by and sharing your thoughts with me.

Rina, what a wonderful image! A classic example of 'simple and yet effective'! I love it!
Thanks for your generous comments on my 'Summer Scene' image! I must say I was absolutely taken by surprise when this one won a BIP. I actually sat on the pic for three months - I did not think it was good enough to upload!! LOL
I thought the best chance I had for an award was my 'Black & White Showoff' flower in the B&W Flower category! How wrong I was! LOL
So, I am really stoked to get the award - it just makes what we all do a little more rewarding!
Once again, Rina, thanks!
Cheers
Phil

Normally can't stand frames Brian, but after seeing how great your images look within a simplistic one, I'm beginning to likey. Though I still doubt it would work for everything... :)
Thanks for swinging by. Appreciate your feedback. Cheers.

Hi there Fatemeh. Very glad you enjoyed this! One of the great things about the zoom lens I'm using here is that I can virtually knock out the background completely. Perfect for when I want to bring distant subjects into focus but leave farther background distractions out. I initially bought it for sports photography, but now I find I like using it for just about anything! Cheers.
