Beautiful Photo Gayle. It seems like we are rushing toward the demise of film because of Digital. I will make a ststement here... a Person can never really learn PHOTOGRAPHY until he/she has had experience at film. Keep it up.

This looks like it should be on the front of a card. Beautiful soft muted color tones. Nice PS work.

hi,Eb...no,didn't dodge and maybe the cloning in of other tulips would work as long as same dof blur level....thanks!

One idea occured to me would be to try cloning in some other yellow tulips from the foreground area. Gayle, did you try to use your dodging tool on the dark area?

hi and thanks for dropping by...yeah,it is a darker corner of tulips, but on my monitor i can see the dark purple blur of the dof...not sure how i could lighten it without looking out of place...any ideas? (don't suggest layers tho' cause don't know yet how to use them..LOL)

Impressionistic effect is very effective. The darker mass, lower right, might be distracting, as color is lost here. I like what you have done!

Nice effect Gayle.

The muted pastel colours gives the image an almost painted effect. Nice use of DOF.
