There is something about this wall. I was recently there in December. I am a big burley guy that has been blown up several times, been put into the hospital five times for smoke inhalation, and six times for pneomonia. I have busted up my back saving lives and I'll be lucky to be able to walk by the time I get to retirement age. Nothing phases me. However, at this wall I broke down a cried. Shame on those of us who forget. Maybe it ought to be a requirement before we engage in any more wars, the leaders of the country go through and read each of these names. Do not get me wrong I served my country with honor and my sons are now serving. I just hate to see any more "Walls" need to be memorialized. Nice shot!
there's no doubting the strength of the subject here. i would however, have placed the flag in a different section of the frame. a little too centred for my taste.
Lovely picture - like you said.... very moving and you managed to portray this feeling too. I like the reflections of the people too which add to the mood, and the flag being coloured against the black background.
