Is there anything more naturally elegant than this display of feathers? It is like superb brush calligraphy. The contrast of the free-flowing feathers with the rather tortured twistings of the moss is simply great. As always, the high degree of technical prowess displays it all to great advantage. Best regards, --George

Darlene,
WOW! That is so pretty. The feathery textures of the trees really compliments the feathery texture of...the...feathers. Well, you know what I mean. ;^)

Hi Darlene, The background is busier than you probably would have preferred in this one. On the other hand the bird's detail and those fantastic long feathers more than make up for it. Thank goodness for shallow DOF in these hiding bird shots :) There always seems to be a thousand branches in the way for me. Andre

A wodnerful image Darlene. Those delicate long feathers are so graceful. The white stands out beautifully against the darker background. Such lovey curves int he posture of the egret. Another superb capture.
Darlene I'll be leaving UF shortly and I've just posted my Farewell image so I wanted to wish you and your family good health and blessings to you all. Thank you for your kind comments to me over the last few months. Hopefully I will be able to return again in a few more months but that depends on where our travels take us.
Cheers for now and Blessings from Ann. :)
