thanks for your comments! the flash extender works well in this case. helps expose the birds against the backlight, this was from sunset yesterday.

I'm wonder;
look at the little white points in the water that's brilliantly. your exposure is awesome that could have the Eyes reflections perfectly in the water.
this is a very nice shot with lovely tones.
