Hey Chris -
A lot of good shots in your portfolio, those probably don't need comments. I wanted to stop by this one -
Good toning and contrast, a lot of pop to bring out the structure and sticks, but the overall composition is a little static with the nest centered in the middle of the shot. You have a nice rule of thirds composition with the nest positioned in the upper third to emphasize the height and "vertical" feel, all good, but perhaps you could have put it left or right with some negative space to energize the frame.
Hard to say without being there, just some ideas.

Great shot, Chris. It reminds me very much of some modern sculptures in wood. Well done! Best, Steve

Chris,
Nicely framed and good tone. Hopeful you will be able to go back and take a few photos this spring, and maybe somebody will be home.
Best wishes,

Cool shot of a nest, Chris, it won't be long and it will get new (or maybe the same) owners! Great composition with sepia tones! Best regards, Ina

Wonderfully toned composition Chris and loaded with great details. Hope residency is resumed in the Spring. A lot of our little birds do return to their old nests, they do a little refurbishment and the circle turns once again. Lovely shot my friend and a great reminder of a lovely season that's not too far away now. Best wishes to you as always....Ray

Hopefully not for long...! Sometimes these nests get used over again. It would be fun to get some shots if a bird takes up residence again. Nice detail and I like your tones here Chris. Susie
