This image brings back hectic memories of when our family lived in Atlanta - the little guys also went for the seeds in the feeder - much to Dad and our dog's irritation. Thank you for bringing back some childhood memories.

A very nice shot Dave, I like it a lot. I like to take shots sometimes of those nice little animals. In the public park, they are not scared of people and sometimes we can take very good pictures because they come close to us. If you have a chance take an eye on one of my tentative to get one on picture on this adress: http://www.pbase.com/mikoyen/image/51506894 Best regards Guy

Oh my God! Not you, too, Dave! Until about four years ago we had no squirrels in our neighborhood. Now we're overrun and they are the BANE of my birdfeeding attempts. However, they are photogenic, as you've proven. It's a really nice composition, The palette and clarity are great. I love the lone sunflower seed stuck to its chest. Best, Steve

A lot of loud debate over here regarding these very lovely looking 'pests' Dave. I know our smaller red squirrel has been decimated by his North American cousins and we have just a few isolated areas where they still survive. They obviously are a part of the same family, so why is one an endangered species to be protected and the other labeled a pest to be exterminated??? Beats me. I think the human race are the greatest pests!!
It is a delightful shot my friend with wonderful clarity, all the best....Ray

I know the feeling. At times I get angry at them for being so clever, but then remember they are just looking for food. Now if I can just make my self say the same thing when the deer eat my garden. Nice detail, especially that seed popping out, that is a seed isn't it? Del.

Well even a little squirrel has to stock up for the winter somehow. This is so adorable even if they are considered by some to be pests. He looks so soft and cuddly with all that fur in all that snow. Great exposure and looks like a nice low angle. Razor sharp details. Great shot Dave.
Cheers - Ann :)
