If you take the highway from San Juan to the national rain forrest, El Yunque, about 3/4 of the way there on the left you will see one hundred "friquitines". These are the Puerto Rican equivalent to an American greasy spoon. All individually owned and operated and the food here is typical, homemade and absolutely fantastic, and ever so slightly less than sanitary! If you are ever here, fear not, stop in to any of these and grab a bite! You will not be disappointed.
Great panorama Salvatore, and flawless stitch. A fun post particularly knowing the background now. Not sure if I'll ever have an opportunity to visit there, but you make it sound very appealing... :))
