About	For this picture I adjusted the levels and contrast. For lighting I used a little spot lamp and the camera flash. I am not so sure about the shadow cast on the back of the flower, does it add or detract from the picture?

I think the shadow doesn't detract andadds a darker texture to the back of the flower. I think this works well in B&W and the lighting is effective to convey a subtle feeling.

Nice shot, but i think the shadow detracts from the picture
