Nothing's too weird for you Kelly. :) I love this one. The framing is super and I also feel as you do about B&W. I enjoy it at times but for the most part please colour my world. Nice tones in this and great lighting. A good project for you.
Thanks for your words of support and encouragement on my images. Had to laugh and yes at least neither of us was the flappy mouthed one this time. :)

You're like my husband Kelly, he just doesn't like b/w as well as color. He works in the medical field as well, so maybe that has something to do with it!  ) I think some photos lend themselves very well to it and some just don't. I like both color and b/w...sometimes the nostalgic feel is kinda cool though.
Keep up the good work and the great experimenting. I really enjoy seeing your outcomes.

I'm with you Kelly...I just can't get the hang of converting colour into mono tones. Apart from which...a huge chunk of my life was spent in monochromatic tones and I was HAPPY when colour became more freely available. Having said that your composition here is great and the framing presentation is wonderful. Well done to you sweetie..Best wishes and 'see' you soon...Ray

Thank you Susie for your comment on my B&W. Any critique you can give me is great. I'm just not a big fan of B&W at all.....!!!! I just don't like it and don't have the eye for the conversions!!! I know every ones loves Ansel Adams and our instructor talks a lot about him but I think its ugly. Too many B&W X-rays to look at every day I guess. Take care.

Pretty Kelly. I'm glad that you are showing us your projects. The b/w floral isn't all that easy to do...you did well here. And this recessed border looks pretty good in this presentation.
