Not a cliff, but there is more river in the way of swinging farther left. The river runs around a small island here, this being the leftmost set of falls. The right part of the river courses under the wooden platform that I was standing on. I have tried to find better perspectives, but haven't yet. The river has some nasty eddies immediately around the falls and they warn that others died (traders, indians and early explorers). It's not worth wading in. Thanks again for the nice comments. JB
Nice shot of the falls. The only thing I see is that I would have moved to the left a bit. Of course, if there is a cliff there, you might not be able to. I love the contrast between the white water and the black rocks. Good exposure and good shutter speed.
