Initially, i thought of cropping close to the subject but later decided that the full shot was better :).

Terrific capture of three very cute girls. I think you would not hurt the photo by making a closer crop around the subjects. I don't think for the sake of the subjects that it's important that there is a pillar on the left. Cropping through the pillar would remove the background which adds nothing. I'm thinking of something like:
